Sony PSP

I just picked up a Sony PlayStation Portable with Star Wars Battlefront II. I can’t say too much about the game yet because I haven’t had a chance to play but I’ve spent a good amount of time setting up some RSS feeds for text and podcasts on my new PSP and it works GREAT! The WiFi is easy to configure and get up and running. I’d eventually like to get it to the point where I could synch my BlogBridge Subscription list with my PSP.

The PSP is much bigger than my 3G iPod but it also has built in Wifi along with the ability to play games and watch movies, listen to music, surf the web, read my RSS subscriptions, and also expand beyond Sony’s original firmware.. Of course you can change the psp themes as well.

The PSP looks just like any USB drive when you plug it into Linux and putting your MP3s on the PSP is as simple as using the cp my.mp3 /media/usbdisk/psp/MUSIC command.

I’ll post more information about pictures, videos, RSS, and the browser when I have more time to tinker with it. If anyone knows about an email reader with pop support for the PSP, I’d love to hear about it
